Deliveries & Returns

We keep things straightforward — fair return policies, and support if you need it. For full details, see the information below.

You can choose between Royal Mail’s 1st or 2nd class delivery for orders being delivered within the United Kingdom.

All international orders are shipped by Royal Mail International Tracked, I will send you an email with your order tracking number when your order has been dispatched.

Please be aware that orders outside the UK may receive an additional customs fee – rates will depend on the country you are importing Whiptails apparel into. Please check this for your local area before making a purchase; you will be asked to pay any fees due by your customs office before an attempt is made to deliver your parcel. 

Orders to the USA won’t incur any extra customs fees — Whiptails covers these costs for you. The total shown in your cart is the only amount you’ll pay.

Deliveries to the EU, Northern Ireland & EEA countries have been suspended for the foreseeable due to updates in EU regulations passed in December 2024.

  • Tracked delivery. Royal Mail will e-mail you with a tracking number which can be used via their website. Please get in touch at contact@whiptails.co.uk if you did not receive or need another copy of this.
  • Please note that you may receive additional charges at customs, according to your local area.
  • Compensation of up to £250 can be claimed in the event that your parcel goes missing. Your money can be claimed back by the Royal Mail. Items lost or damaged during delivery are not Whiptails responsibility.
  • Orders will take extra time to pass through customs, so although the royal mail will deliver your item to your country within the times stated above, once it arrives in your country, you may encounter a delay by customs. This could add anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to the time it takes for your order to be delivered to your address.

 

Cancellations

If you would like to cancel your order with me, for whatever reason, please get in touch at contact@whiptails.co.uk within 14 days of placing your order.

Returns

If you’d like to make a return, please email me within 14 days of receiving your parcel to let me know whether you’d like a refund or exchange.
Items must be returned in resalable condition — unused, unwashed, and postmarked within 30 days of receiving your order to the instructed address. Please return your item in its original packaging and include a copy of your invoice for identification. Once your return has been received, you’ll receive a confirmation email within 5 working days.

Refunds and exchanges are accepted on all unused and unworn items; however, return postage costs are the customer’s responsibility.

You’re welcome to try the clothing on your dog for fit, but please avoid letting your dog wear or lounge in it if you intend to return it. Returned items must be free from hair, odours and marks — I recommend using sticky tape to remove any stray hairs before sending. Items returned with excess dog hair will still be accepted, but a 10% cleaning fee will be deducted from your refund.

All returned garments are carefully inspected. Items showing signs of wear, washing, or damage will not be accepted. If you’d like such an item returned to you, you’ll need to cover the return postage costs.


Exchanges

Exchanges can be made for a different size. If the new size costs less, the price difference will be refunded. If you’re exchanging for a larger or made-to-measure item, you may be asked to pay the difference in cost.
Exchange requests are fast-tracked and typically processed within 10 working days, even during busy periods.


Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, your refund will be processed within 5 working days. Please allow up to 10 days for the refund to appear on your card statement.

A full refund, including delivery costs, will be issued for faulty items or if you’ve received the wrong item. In these cases, please provide photographic evidence of the fault or error. If you’ve received the wrong product, it can either be replaced or refunded in full.
For approved faulty or incorrect items, Whiptails will cover return postage (Second Class within the UK, or International Tracked outside the UK).


Important

Please obtain proof of postage when sending your return. Whiptails cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost or damaged in transit.

Please note that there can be changes in the appearance of colour between monitors and devices. Whiptails images are colour-corrected to give the best match to the true colour of items.
All items are handmade, there can be slight variations between items. Items cannot be returned as faulty for differences in colour or fit.
